JavaScript and Flex Toolkits Now Open Source
Version 2.0 of the eBay JavaScript and Flex Toolkits are being released as open source products. The toolkits support the functionality of the eBay Shopping APIs and enable users to build applications in JavaScript and Flex. The toolkit bundles will contain source code along with the toolkit libraries. The source code is released under the Common Development and Distribution License (CDDL).
Trading API: New GetExpressWishList Call
The eBay Trading Web Service has added a new API to fetch eBay Express wish list information. The GetExpressWishList call enables searching for a user's eBay express wish list by name. WishLists can also be searched by eBay username, first name and last name. The information returned includes wish list details and items or products in the wish list. The API also supports sorting and pagination of the result set.
Change to Listing Requirements for Event Tickets
During the week of Nov 12, eBay will be making some important changes to the listing flow in the Event Tickets category. Basically, we will be removing the requirement for sellers to enter the face value of the tickets for events taking place in regulated US states and Canadian provinces, and there will no longer be a disclaimer in ticket listings which states the maximum amount that can be bid for the tickets. Sellers are still responsible for making sure that their transactions do not violate any applicable laws or the terms of the ticket itself.
A New Look for Auth & Auth Sign In Pages - Coming Soon!
In the next few days all eBay SignIn pages will under-go a makeover and reveal a new fresh look, matching the changes made to the rest of the eBay site.  For developers, this means that the site pages used in the Auth & Auth SignIn flow will also look different.  For a preview of the new pages, please see Naresh Narwani's Community Announcement. No API or Auth & Auth setup properties are affected by this feature.
