Lower Final Value Fees in First Tranche from June 19th-August 5th
Developers building applications using eBay Web Services should be aware that as announced by Bill Cobb in his Keynote Address at eBay Live!, the first closing price tranche ($.01 – $25.00) for eBay sellers will be charged 4.5% of the closing cost rather than 5.25%. Some restrictions apply, so be sure to read up on the details >
Mid-July category changes
Fourteen categories -- Antiques, Art, Books, Cameras & Photo, Cell Phones & PDAs, Clothing, Shoes & Accessories, Coins & Paper Money, Collectibles, Computers & Networking, Home & Garden, Jewelry & Watches, Pottery & Glass, Specialty Services, and Toys & Hobbies -- will be updated mid-July based on eBay Community feedback. Reminder: Type Changes: Store IDs May Reach 64-Bit in 2007
As previously announced, IDs used for eBay Store categories and pages could reach 64-bit values at any time from July 2007 onward. When this happens, eBay will return the actual values regardless of your request version. If you use or retrieve any of the eBay Store category or page ID fields, we recommend that you modify your code and database to support 64-bit values as soon as possible. Learn more >

PHP developer & Top Ten poster ezine (the developer behind the PHP Accelerator Toolkit for eBay) and (elzorro) also pointed out some helpful sample code for fellow PHP developers wanting to use the call: "Although EbatNs primarily uses the SOAP API, it makes a special exception in the case of UploadSiteHostedPictures and switches to the XML schema."
