Anticipated Launch Date:

June 2005

Developer Impact:

Developers will be able to get more items listed returned when using the GetSearchResults and GetCategoryListings APIs

Feature Description:

Devevelopers, particularly Affiliate developers, use GetSearchResults and GetCategoryListings calls to retrieve items listed on eBay. This information allows them to determine the best key words to use for SEO. Currently, the GetSearchResults and GetCategoryListings calls only return 100 items per call and 200 items per call respectively. The enhancement increases the items returned to 400 per call. This will save significant resource for both developers and eBay as it will take fewer calls to get the same volume of results.

Feature Benefits:

The anticipated benefit for Developers/Affiliates and eBay is greater efficiency in getting item results and potentially increased adoption of the API by developers.
