Want It Now
is already available to individuals on the eBay site. The purpose of this project is to make the Want It Now feature available via the API. Developers search for postings by category and/or the content in the titles and descriptions. One can search a specific eBay site or all ebay sites. New API calls allow developers to search and respond to Want It Now posts. The search results include the following information: Want It Now post ID, post title, date posted, category ID, site and number of responses. Developers can retrieve individual Want It Now posts to get full descriptions. The API call to respond to Want It Now posts requires post ID and item ID. A confirmation and any applicable error messaging will be returned as well.

The calls available for Want It Now include: |
- GetWantItNowSearchResults - returns post ID, post title, category ID, site, posting date, and number of responses for posts matching a Want It Now search based on keyword and/or category
- GetWantItNowPost - returns comprehensive post data including the description post title, description, and category for a given post ID
- RespondToWantItNowPost - user can provide a listing in response to a Want It Now post, by providing the ID of the post to respond to along with the item ID of a matching listing
